Power Supply Quality
After analyzing parametric performance data for a series of power supply problems for a major network infrastructure developer and manufacturer, I developed a business case to justify the design, development and build of an automated power supply tester. After successfully building the tester and high speed test fixtures, test programs, and protocols, the tester was deployed into the service and repair process and has initially saved several million dollars in repair costs with a projected fully deployed savings in excess of $12 million dollars.
